SkyBox F3S New Line Help

Newbie
Hi,

I am trying to input a new line in my SkyBox F3S. I have used both newcam.list and CCcam.cfg files to input the line details but both still left me with scrambled channels.

I then proceeded to manually input the N-line details via the remote control in both MGcamd client setup and cccam client setup and then restarted my box and still the channels are scrambled.

Does anyone know if I am missing a step or anything to get this working?

Thank You in advance

is it possible that you may require a firmware upgrade? Was the box working before you tried adding a new connection.
Also when you added the nline did you do it via usb?

Yes the box was working on a different line/provider last week.

I've added the nline via newcamd.list file by USB and manually with the remote.

At the moment my box has the line details in both MGcamd client setup and cccam client setup

well you will need to delete one, if the same line is in cccam and mgcam at the same time this will cause conflict. Delete everything in cccam config, then try rebooting with your connection working in mgcam.

I have deleted from cccam and rebooted but not working. Is there a way in mgcam to see if the connection is working like in cccam where you can see if the server is online?

In CCcam it showed as active but "offline," but I have spoken with my provider and they have confirmed that my line is online.

Have you changed any other settings before inputting the new line, if its showing offline, then its offline, yeah?
Is this from a new provider?

No haven't changed any settings, deleted the old line and put in the new line. And yes is a new provider.

Are there a list of settings / guide I could check my box against?

So my mate has tried on his box and it is working fine, albeit he doesn't have a skybox

Looks like the line is working, not quite sure why it isn't on my skybox?
