Skybox F5 'Offline' internittently

Hi,

I have been having problems with my F5S box since Xmas and since I updated a channel list.
Have done a factory reset - the line is fine and broadband is fine.
Have also done all the usual DHCP on/off etc and it's really getting to me now - is there a firmware fix for this as all I can see is a .rar file on Skybox.cc

Cheers Garyth - I'd like to try re-loading firmware or testing different line before I bin it though. As I say I've had it 2 years now and only really had an issue since Xmas.
 
Yep - was working fine at 5.30 and just scrambled while I was watching the news - only me in the house and nobody touched a thing.
Goes 'offline' of it's own accord since the 28th.
 
when you say factory reset, if you have done a hard reset it will wipe your line. You checked the line is still showing in your mgcam or cccam?
 
Yes, entered manually just to ensure and was fine until 5.30 - now it's been offline again since despite dhcp on/off, router re-boot, box re-boot, etc. Only thing I haven't done is a firmware upgrade or tested a different line
 
Yes, all ok there - in fairness they're excellent providers. I've just knocked off the box and unplugged - followed by power down of router. Re-booted router and waited for wifi to establish and re-booted the skybox and am back 'online'. All pointing to perhaps a consistency issue on the line as am getting speeds of over 50mbps.
 
It'll do for tonight - I'll be getting on to the broadband provider in the morning to test line consistency. Cheers Garyth.
