Guys i'm probably being dumb i have put the picons on the receiver like in post 1 , how do i activate them so they show on screen lol .

You create for the skin to show in infobar a Preview Channel Picons... so in this way we are 2 picons one for channel list anfd one for your preview.
Why not use same source like piconss on HHD ? Is not more simple ?
In fact for example if i want show my picon (hdd) on preview i must copy these in folder icon on your SkyQ...
I hope to explai well my arguments ...and sorry for this

The images I made for SkyQ preview are not picons. I made them to take the respective channel idents or preview.

They can be used as picons but that is not what they are intended for. That is why they cannot be included in the normal picon folder. But you can use your picons as preview.png if you want.

But you will end up getting 2 same images in your infobar. One very big as the preview and one small as normal picon.

That is why I had to keep them different to keep up with the SkyQ theme..

Which picons have you copied. The one from SkyQ Preview.rar?

If you have copied them correctly in picon folder in SkyQ not picons they should come up on the infobar unless you have E2 Autobouquet with the channel number on.

Then it wont work as you will need to add the channel numbers on the filename of the picons as they go with Service Name.

When i try to extract it, it says error bad format, meaning it doesn't extract anything. Have u just got the extracted ipk that I can have.

The Skin is Based on Open Pli but it should work well with most other images. I can confirm it also works well with Open ATV.

Feel free to try it on other images (please back up your image first before installation). Do post here if it works well with other images.

Hello,
I'm a little confused on the install on the installation part

Installation:

Telnet command

>>> opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk <<< is that the full command I must type or is that just the latter part from " -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk " ???

Also can someone please tell me how I can the picons to show also on the channel list page like this:

Whats image are you using? The picons to show up then make sure you have downloaded and installed them in your box.

Then at the channel selection screen, press menu go settings and change display picons to yes.

Just installed the skin onto my zgemma h,2h with vix4...uesd filezilla...dropped the ipk file into var/volatile/temp..then used vix to install...loaded a couple of bootlogos and bingo all good !! FANTASTIC !!
Now onto the picons as mentioned in the last posts......i think you download them from the plugin browser...press the green button...this will show various things to download,,,including the picons.
My problem is which set to download i live in the notts area so which set should i use.
