You don't need a usb on your tv to update a box.
You need a usb key formatted to fat32.
The firmware file which is either a .dbs or .abs file
The file goes on the key, the key goes in the box and then you upgrade by going menu---tools---upgrade by usb.

Do you mean F5 or X5?

hi mate i did up date my f5 box tp_prog.bds says ok but still have scrambled i have no gift
