In simple terms, the sat feed (stream) is played internally on the box, so that oscam can decrypt it.
It's required as the box drivers do not support icam, therefore it's loaded inside of oscam instead.
So any sat line can be used?
Not a euro line or viark type line which were being hawked around last year

The line doesn't need to be anything special.
The oscam build used at the client end, needs to have icam.
However the server with the card, does need a recent(ish) oscam build, otherwise ecm requests to the card will be rejected.

If your talking about a line specifically for UK , then you need a server that supports it

Most c/s lines will not clear the sky channels will clear the BT and a few others though. Finding one that works it key not many about i should think.
