I've just opened e2iplayer and it's dated 14/11?
should i have removed the plugin before installing the new one? - i thought it would have overwritten it?

Did you reboot after installing?
nope
just rebooted and it's installed fine :)
strangely, the reboot didn't remove the ipk from tmp folder, just deleted it manually

I have a zgemma h5 with openatv 6.2 (no builds ) I do a software update now and again today I did one and it upgraded 47 packages one of which is the E2iplayer updating to 2019.01.30.01 so a different way of updating !
Using e2iplayer 2018.12.16.03 on my zgemma h2h box.
Firstly why doesn’t the update no longer work... I usually used to get a daily update and now it’s been months.
Secondly, why does all the movie channels stopped working.
I get the following error message
“No item to display”

read the above posts it doesnt update no more but if you press red button software manager software updates you should get the latest e2iplayer update i have h2h and thats what i done

Not suprised your using ipleb image which is dead and buried no updates on ipleb image mate

There's @grog68 free range build there's wooshbuild infinity there's willows build there's @dsayers2014 back up image I think it is for h2h there is a couple to choose from

Not sure why my box is being a silly bugger. But it doesn't seem to like this .apk. says it's all installed succesfully then there is no e2pi Player to select in the plugins menu. I've tried installing this over the top of the existing .APK from 30th January and the E2iPlayer still shows 2019.01.30.01.
Ah well, looks like I'm sticking with the 30th Jan update for now.

I’ve got the open atv 6.3 and it’s upto date think you need to reflash it to! Try software update! Press menu go down to press software management then press software update that might do it otherwise as said 6.3

software update, even on 6.2 will still work ok.
