I use mine in the same way I just put a 2 way DC splitter near the boxes and use by solo4k to drive the dish and motor. I then put the solo4k in deep standby and power on the viark. I've been doing this for 2 years with no problems.

What if you wanna change satellite? Do you have to turn the vu solo back on?

Got a link for the DC splitter? As @Kurdt Kobain mentioned before you, the satellite switch may be a better option

That's how I do it but as the splitter has DC bypass all I need to do is set the viark up to able to move the dish. I just choose not to. I'm guessing with the a/b switch you will either have to push the button or power up one of the two receivers. I have one in my garage when I put up a 2nd large dish.

My viark sat 4k receiver went out on its own again this morning and then only the time could be seen on the viark sat 4k receiver Display why? What ist this Problem??

It has a setting called APD which is auto power down - you change the setting via the Times menu

i Think that the viark sat 4k receiver is set in such a way that it switches itself off at night and then only the time CAN be seen on the Display because that always happens at night when i go to sleep and just switch off the television. I would like to turn it off so that my viark sat 4k receiver does not switch itself off in the evening and only the time can be seen i would Not ask if i knew how to do it. i need that in german.

Why would you want to leave your viark on when you are a sleep. Especially now when we are all now trying to save power.

Trying to eliminate whether it's a problem at my end related to a reflash I did earlier this evening. I realise it's still only testing.
