Viark 4K has been great for me. It's nowhere near as polished as my old Vu+ Solo2, but the important thing is that the Viark opens many channels that the E2 boxes struggle to. Not sure I'd buy one if you only have a fixed dish though.

I have 13° E. 19.2° E, 23.5° E and SLY 28. I'm hoping it's a lot easier to edit channels compared to the G8 UHD.

Do you like the Viark? would you recommend one?
You already have the v8 uhd, so I wouldn't say it would be worth getting the viark just to be able to edit the favourites order.

As annoying as it is, not being able to do it with the v8 uhd easily, I would rather spend an hour or 2 messing with the remote control, than spend £170 on a different box just for that.

Chances are the feature will get added to the V8 uhd at some point.

@ Ferret and cokeaddict, thanks very much for your views, I'll take the advise and leave it for now.

Evening All:
Reading many topics on the gtmedia box with interest., as a previous sat user of zgemma& open box some yrs ago , I honestly would have to re- educate myself in re-setting these up.. can the current gtmedia be set up via the old keys we use to use on the f5’s etc., or are these via ftp or it usb software upgrade? & is it really worth the effort to get back into satellite over iptv.. big thnx

The box is updated via usb you then buy access to a server that the box connects to.

No need to FTP a line these boxes connect to a remote server once the relevant firmware has been flashed.

Whilst I understand IPTV has improved considerably in recent years and my Viark has SP2, I still don't bother much as my motorised dish already offers enough.
