Yes the Achilles heel has definitely been addressed in this latest update for the DRS2 as I can now change from sat to sat without having to leave it from a vertical and go to a vertical channel. Previously going from vertical to horizontal or H to V would throw up an LNB short error and the dish wouldn’t move but no issues now.

Noticed channels not green but clearing which is a step backwards hopefully it will clear itself in time.

Great to see these issues getting addressed.

That makes the DRS2 a much improved candidate for those with a motor. Android anorl so turning into a good bit of kit.
 
I had one turn up today, I have a motorised but I have it just hooked up to 28e to test it out. I installed 1.05 on the sat 4k and I’m just having a play about. Scanned everything in, but am I right in saying only the yellow ones clear and only when it’s working okay?

yes, some channels sometime come in yellow but don't clear or can be quite glitchy

I think so, but I haven't really used the box for SS, mainly bt. Sky was down last night, so it might not have come back yet.

For the sports channels, bt + ss, there's two versions of them. Often one is white and the other is yellow. (I assume one is maybe the pubs version, but I'm not 100% certain)
 
Is there an auto display setting on the viark 4k box. The reason I ask is because it seems to not change display automatically. I have the option to change it when you press display button but then it stays on whichever one you pick.

Try going to Settings - STB - Other Settings - Complex List = OFF
Working for me all sat channels that clear green again.

Same question, is this current downtime is the one was expected to happen earlier in year due to Sly changing to new encryption or due to the infamous 'turf' war between the hackers.
 
Worked for me twice i was able to watch bbc1 on iptv on viark i don't know if its my internet it very poor. Are anyones 28.2 clearing on e2 if they are pm me please
