It's not towards the viarks.
It's the server.
They have allowed it to be hacked.
This means they turn it off for 2-3 hours a day to "teach them a lesson".
The whole setup seems to be a shambles and run by toddlers.
It will surely be hacked a lot more in the near future and there's more hacked users than legit users they will surely abandon the whole thing and then nothing will work apart from iptv, although it's unlikely they'll leave that running

New update on the Sat 4k

Updates coming thick and fast maybe things get better for those with just 28e who knows.

Set a friend's viark 4k up the other day.
So what do I think of it. First the interface is really bad lol UK wasn't working but I've told him its up and down like a nun's knickers.
Now for the other satellites working fine, love that you get proper HD and believe it worth getting 1 so have ordered 1 for myself.

If it’s never been connected/activated, then in theory yes, provided it’s the same box

just watch out for the customs etc

deleting porn channels is more important for me that clearing 28.2 on Viarks. Ok I will go ahead with the factory reset and update the box. Will report back if I find any changes.

I just updated my Sat 4K, didn't back anything up or do a factory reset, just loaded the fw it works fine.

Haven't noticed anything different, it still feels like i'm using an early 2000's lidl's dvd player.

Curious what customs charge if a box was converted and coming in at e65 from Dubai.
Other places seeing nearly e200 then adding irish customs be too expensive.

My mate ordered from Germany for €165 and no taxes came within a week

Just an update-- I saved all the settings and channel list on a USB -----> factory reset ----> box update ------> reload the channel list (I know I am lazy) ----> box working fine (Viark Sat 4K).. Couple of channels like Comedy C which was not clearing before is clearing now and 1 asian channel which is not yellow still clears and then turns yellow. Feature wise, did not find any new additions.

There never is mate from them.

Usually filters through from the users what has improved.

No you can backup you channel list flash the firmware then reinstall the channel list.

Shouldn’t be in theory as there’s no tariffs on satellite receivers. And Dubai vat rate is only 5%, so even if you pay vat twice, won’t be too much extra
