yes all up and running now. For some reason the channel list i uploaded had incorrect TPs in it so said no signal!!! done a scan and all working. Appreciate everyones help today and will share knowledge if anyone else needs some help.
 
Anyone else really had a play about with the IPTV on their Viark box. I might just be learning about it or i might no but anyone has not played with it. Try click on the sat button on the remote. In your channel list scroll to the bottom. It will say iptv. Highlight it an press ok. It may go into a channel or it may go into a menu. Anyway press menu and then try left arrow and left arrow and eventually you will get into a screen that has iptv, vod, mylink setting. Have a play from that menu. Its a little tricky but worth a go.

@kegnkiwi yes mate used that quite a bit, I quite like watching AFN channels and means I can watch them when the wife is watching shite via the E2 box.

The world sports are quite good, watched bits and bobs here and there.

For free it's great. I never even realised it had the VOD bit until I had the GTMedia, the Viark had been turned off since UK went last time so it was a bonus finding it on there as well 🤣

Mine came from Satkings Vis Amazon when they first had UK open. It's been a good buy I think, we gave it some hammer at Christmas but not watched much TV since

I knew is was there but forgot about the video on demand. There seems to be quite a few good movies etc and they play quickly.

Re Recording, I know it can do instant record while watching TV but can't see any option to add timer so series recording function. Is it possible?

Another annoying thing is that by default Audio is set with audio description on most channels. How I turn off that so no Audio description for all new channels I try.

How do you turn audio description off for the channel?

Personally think its a bit naff, picture res low.

Dont use it tbh.

Menu-Times to do a scheduled recording.

You can set a recording via the EPG also on the sat 4k so i assume other models too.
