I got my gtmedia v8 uhd today and have spent most of the day playing around with it. Such a frustrating box to use in comparison to a solo2 and openvix! Anyway will get around to ordering mars one day but in the meatime does anyone know how to get the epg to fully popualte instead of a few random channels and even then mainly now and next?
 
Seems to be quite a few having issues setting up these gtmedia boxes i did mine in 15 minutes and found it a simple process.

1) USB update the required firmware
2) Scan channels or upload a channel list via usb
3) Add ccccam file via usb

To get a cccam line you need to send the box ID number to a supplier of the mars package.

Thanks , that's exactly what I have done. All working but no proper epg. Also can you access softcam key on the mars firmware?

To update keys it's Menu, App, Update and then you've got the keys update in there, and then to dump that to USB it's Menu - USB - then press the colour that matches Upload and then Upload Keys to USB and it should dump out it's local copy.

Same here for me on V8 no full epg . was going to try without channel list that was uploaded a few pages back , but no i will just leave as it is for now .
 
I find the EPG changes daily in terms of how many days EPG is available.

Also, some channels will show more days epg where others just now and next.
 
Just to check , is server down on gtmedia boxes? My line shows connected but nothing is green. May be I messed with the server by taking two trials at same time !!! Was bad idea 😞 any idea what I can do. Already reset the box, rescanned channels and restated the router

Don't expect it to be a problem as I took my first trial when it was all undergoing maintenance, when I went to the other guy for a trial he already knew I had a trial and gave me a new one. I can't check right now as rescanning sats.

Thanks. Both these trials have same password and username name which is a bit strange. One trial has expiry date of 6th which I assume still valid until mid night and other has 8th . But box is showing only expiry date of 6th.
