I think chmax is just a updated user interface brought out on the last updates. It gives a more graphical look and gives access to picons for the channels. Problems is it takes up memory. There is another option to select as well which is something like use previous style EPG. I think we turned that on to use it. I think one of the issues was that channel zapping was getting slow.

It was down on my Viark 4k earlier. And still is. Just checked.

I’m trying to get the channels using the correct LCN but still can’t manage, do you turn on in system config then channel scan or something else, just want channel number to match in guides?

Hi guys, i have problem to import cccam.cfg to CS protocol on my V8.
It keeps saying FAIL.

Are you sure it’s a valid cfg file? I would check again your computer. I had the same error

Are the .cgf files all the same? And can you use one already provided as I could send you the one I have here.

They are but if you use notepad to copy and paste it and save it sometimes saves it as a txt file. Just have to remove the .txt extension and it will save as a valid cfg file

I presume the extra full stop at the end is not on original file or is it?

You could open the file with notepad or wordpad and copy the details in manually.

I've been told the file contains box ID so won't be compatible with yours.

Have you tried a factory reset and reflashing the firmware?

By the way you click on the file from the USB screen not the cs protocol one.
