Viark VIARK TYPE BOXES

So had the viark 4k sat for around a week or so now, spending this weekend trying to sort channels out. Feeling I'm missing some channels and a few aren't working with error message weak signal, I'm going to do a full rescan ( uk sat only)

Can anyone confirm this is the correct setup, I only want Astra 2 uk only.
You will be missing channels

On your screen shot where it says Satellite search use the <> on the remote to select blind scan then scan again.

Anyone answer what type of scan is best then, I mentioned doing a blind scan when I got my GT last week and some members said they never do a blind scan . Pros - Cons
Asking in case I m missing some channels
Thanks

If you perform a blindscan, it probes the satellite in increments blindly searching for channels.

If you don't use blindscan, it will only search the transponders that it has saved.

Benefit of blindscan is that it will find services on newly active transponders.
Negative is that it takes longer.

I just did it on my box. Wiped the channels, but I had those backed up. Working fine after update.
Same here, channels wiped. Done backup and saved copy. Did you find that the Folder names had changed (the channels and their order stayed the same) and you had to reconfigure the antenna and time settings etc?

You would have been better off doing 16e. English coms.
I have added an extra lnb to a standard zone 1 sky dish as a start but was planning to have a go at 16e next but will have to get a new dish. I was thinking of buying a zone sky 2 dish and pointing it directly at 16e from South East England. Do you think that would get it or would it not be big enough?

Not big enough imo.
