In a market primarily led by sellers and resellers etc. I'm unconvinced UK card sharing will ever be mainstream again, especially when IPTV is so prolific and has more content, including channels and on demand, nor requires dishes or changing LNB types. Most people aren't enthusiasts or know how to / can be bothered installing or modifying dishes and are happily sold the most convenient product - IPTV.

I'd guess for most that's probably right. But in I'd guess maybe towards 10 years of trying dozens, maybe even over a hundred different IPTVs, I'm yet to find anything that's particularly good or stable. Some start out fine, but usually get worse as time goes on. I just can't be bothered with it mostly nowadays. It's a real last resort behind this box, and a few genuine subs from places like Fubo Canada, Peacock USA, Tod MENA.
 
i have GT Media v8 UHD, i downloaded the channel list for 28east from page 226 .sdx file. I dropped it on my usb and inserted it, went to the usb and uploaded it. I had lost all channels, so i did another blind scan and the the channels appeared but i could not watch them as i had no signal on any of them. I had happened to back up my settings under the main menu, i thought it would of overwritten it however it loaded them.

so how do i load the sdx file?

What LNB are you using ?

I know we have this debate quite often on here, but besides a few lesser watched 3pm fixtures, multi sat satellite is still king for live sport at least. My friends with IPTV often complain on social media how poor viewing matches on their services can be, and I've offered to help some of them with satellite setups, but often by the time I next see them they've renewed for another 12 months of punishment with the same IPTV fella!

Admittedly I've got Virgin Ultimate Volt these days, but even if I just had my Viark Sat 4K and motorised dish, that provides enough for me not to bother with IPTV and I don't use Apollo much. I've only ever bought a few random months IPTV before, the last time being over 2 years ago.

Pretty sure i read the older sdx channel lists no longer work on the latest update do a blind scan which is what i did all working good.

When you loaded the sdx did you go back into the setting and set it to Universal LNB ?

Depends on if a different type of LNB was used to make the list, say Unicable.

That setting is saved in the channel list backup so it would transfer to your box.

I understand that know, strangely I have just tried reloading the sdx file and all it says is fail. I have not recopied It to the usb, just trying the one that was on there already. Seems odd as to why it would load now it says fail. I may just give up and sort them alphabetically

format the usb stick and put the .sdx file on it again
 
A lot easier and less time consuming to just put the sdx back on your usb and try again , then check the settings match your setup, than to do a manual from scratch . Unless your hrs to spare
 
Came home today to find all my channel favourites have gone on my GT Media V8 UHD. Working fine and channels clearing, just no favourites " Anyone had this happen before ?
