You got more tolerance than me ..3 freezes and I was of that ..shame really and it seems to glitch when epl games are live...

does any one know if the V8X box works on Global Mars or European only? Is there an upto list of packages opened by Global or European subscription for Mars.

There was a lot of hassle over this few weeks back, some lost their service access and had to pay again..

So basically, global does not have any HD channels? I actually need the box for my family member based in Asia so not interested in SKY anyway. More interested in Indian satellites for Cricket.

In that case global will be fine and yes you can get global for v8x.

I use 80cm Zone 2 and get >60% for SuperSports on 16e. Heavy rain affects it but mainly its been excellent

I think you would have trouble on a Zone 2 further North you are the weaker the beam is.

Lyngsat have footprint beams to look at.
