VM CHANNELS FIX (23/4/2020) OSCAM ONLY!!

this is what my provider says *****************Your like the 90th person to mention techkings if it was as simple as ticking 2 boxes it would be up and running by now ..... dont know what does it mean.

Another words stop pestering lol and let him do what he needs to do or he is a reseller and has no control on what needs to be done so has to wait for main server guy to do what needs to be done

ok its a broken link issue but if you still have gb instlled.

Open putty and enter the following command to install mgcamd 1.45 on mips box
Code: 
 opkg install http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/4.3/mips32el/enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd_1.45c-r4.0_mips32el.ipk
or for oscam on mipsel box use the command
Code: 
 opkg install http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/4.3/mips32el/enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-emu_1.20+git1830+d512881-r0_mips32el.ipk
its a quick fix while atv sort their feeds out

I tried installing MGcan1.45 using the above method on terminal but got the below error.

Collected errors:
* calculate_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd:
* softcam-support *
* opkg_solver_install: Cannot install package enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd.

Any thoughts as to why it doesn't wanna play ball?

Currently running
OpenATV 6.1.0 (2018-01-01) on grogbuild

You really need to consider updating your box, ATV 6.1 is obsolete basically and unsupported. flash grogbuild freerange, it takes 20 minutes and all should be good as it includes the mgcamd 1.45

Thanks thought its a bullet i would have had to bite at somepoint, just was trying to get away with it for as long as possible and update mgcam without flashing, as had my set up perfect with VM,Sat, IPTV running perfectly before all of this happened.

if you can swap your line to oscam then that will work, but your box does need updating at some point lol

i have now installed the grogbuild on my zgemma and working fine
how do I enter the cws line via the adding my line please

or can I add it via FileZilla?

thank you
 
Just done the update, can see latest plugin is 1.45 and sky line works as normal, still no luck on the VM side. Will wait to see what my provider sais but not getting hopes up as was a random ebay one from novemeber.

That being said, is there a link or guide anywhere as to how to move the lines over to OSCAM?

Also the latest image doesnt seem to let me log into turboclient app on my phone using the older method of box ip, user root and password blank. does the new atv have different login credentials?

using filezilla is actually easier/quicker. the addaline plugin is really for those that dont have computer and do eveerything on phone etc

20 minutes ?? 🤔 That is just waiting for your software to do the business ( Great build mind ) 👍 Have a word with willo as his is 8 minutes 🤣 Or is it because of the far superior openvix team :mask: Move across and join the big boys 🤣

thank you for the advice - I tried to install the line using FileZilla but now getting error 530 login error
i entered the Iptv address of the box - username blank and password as root and port left blank
after upgrading would it have changed the port number?

i also tried to enter the Oscam reader page but that is also now not showing on Webif page

where earlier I was able to access the Oscam reader

any advice please

Have you setup the password as i think your on atv 6.4 ??

in ATV 6.4 you need to set a password before you can FTP. menu -> setup -> System -> Network -> Password

Once set use username root and password you set above in filezilla

Tried to use FileZilla to access the box and it was saying password was incorrect???
Tried password and pass but still saying incorrect and wanted a password - any ideas why???

Don’t worry -answer is above!!!! Jumping on the thread and replying tooquickly

See grog on this reply you and the Vu+ were 8 minutes and me and my xtrend was 6 minutes 🤣 I am on openvix 5.3 see mate
