Anyone know how to resolve this?! My zgemma h2s box has -49- stuck on it. The screen goes from the infinity loading screen to a blue screen where at the top of the page says " we are really sorry, your receiver encountered a software problem and needs to be restarted" was working fine until 5 mins ago

It's almost certain to be a skin problem.
H2s are in the bargain basement as far as processors are concerned, I wouldn't start using fancy HD skins and all the other stuff with this box as you are asking for trouble, if you want epg and picons etc, store them on usb, and use a plain skin

Thanks for the reply and advice man. Is it just a case of reflashing the box now?

I can't be 100% sure but I've a feeling if you try to load infinity again it will give you the erorr message that infinity is already installed so yes, reflash oatv6.2 and add infinity again and try to keep it as simple as possible, choose the lowest spec skin on offer and see how it goes.
Someone earlier was trying to remove a skin via FTP to get past this problem and spent a few hours farting about to no avail, for the 20 minutes involved in starting again I wouldn't be arsed

So far I have just used wooshbuild easy vpn addon selected nord and input my username and password but im not sure the ip address has changed. any help appreciated cheers

Bit of a daft question but.... i've used older versions of WB in the past and just reflashing with infinity.
Is the backup / restore process the same as before on this new build i.e. make a backup and copy to a usb and change the switch to force?
thanks

go to page 1 of this thread and the link is at the top of the page first put atv 6.2 or 6.3 on your box stop when it reaches hdmi setup then start at part 1 to put infinity on your box read carefully and all should go well

I've actually got infinity setup and all good at the moment. I just remember on the older versions you had to do a backup and restore as i mentioned above and just wondered if it was the same as i couldnt find a guide specifically for that.
Also, i've got a couple of usb's for storage and it let me initialise only one of them during setup, and if i try to initialise the other from within settings it says i cant as it is in use.
and another also :) how can i tell where my epg's / iptv stuff is going to go? as at the moment i 'think' it is media/hdd... but i cant tell which usb this is pointing to or whether it is the one which is initialised

OK, found which drive is which under mount manager!
Seems one of them only has little free space (on 128gb usb) so i guess it is still reading it from an old WB setup (i.e. it hasnt been initialised)

sorted. I probably shouldnt have had 2 usb in during setup :)
Took the old one out and formatted on pc, rebooted with newly formatted drive in and now initiallised and all good.

Am i right in thinking that by doing the above it automatically moved any swap files etc.. to my new usb which was left in after taking old one out? As the new usb is now labled as usb\hdd
if i remember correctly did you have to do all this kind of stuff manually in old builds?

oooh ok.
Could you point me in the right direction for a guide on that sort of stuff, i have looked but it would be good if there was some guide/base document.
Great build btw :sunglasses:

High CPU Usage Causing Skipping,

Hi All, I Recently Got Virmin Installed and dusted off my old H.2S and put in a usb DVBSky Dongle installed the latest openatv Nightly as of yesterday and installed wooshbuild, everything seems to go fine, other than the picture on most channels glitching, i tested a few lines and im happy its not a Line Issue, My SNR is at 99% with a 6DB Atenuator attached.

Looking at top while SSHed into the Boxs show "enigma2" prices using 100% CPU at the same times im experiencing Skipping.

All Fittings Splitters ETC Where supplied to me from the Installer. (told him i may install a TV Box Later and it would be handy if he would leave it good to go so they could just post a box out)

If it matters my Line is Fibre to the Box on my house then they used a media converter to CatV.

Im Planning on upgrading to a newer tuner, but wouldnt mind getting this one going too

See if turning off timeshift makes any difference as a starting point. It is possible that the DBV- usb adaptor could be causing an increase in CPU usage though.

There are no silly questions.

WooshBuild Infinity means every time you flash you box you will get the latest version of openATV (If you want it) and the latest versions of all plugins but mainly opens WooshBuild up to all the other boxes that have never had WooshBuild made for that box. There is no need to install this if you box is running fine.

With the recent changes to channels, WooshBuild Infinity will resolve the channels which are in the wrong place and not HD etc. Mainly channel 1 - 5

You never lose your recordings by flashing your box. You only lose recordings by wiping your USB, deleting your recordings or your USB fails.

If you are happy with WooshBuild 7, stick with it.
hi fella,
