just use your computer network and copy stuff as if it was a different drive. FTP is over kill and only ever used for copying files on a whole. I have not used FTP since the day I got my box and saw it on the network. (2 years ago)

Hi Wooshman,

Brilliant bit of software that I have used when I had a satellite.

I have just managed to get it connected to cable but have a couple of issues as follows:

1. The Autoboutiques pulls in 28.8 boutiques and therefore I cannot watch the channels
2. There appears to be less channels on cable than satellite. Can I use both connections at the same time, as I have a H2H box?

Kind regards BL.

I have flashed the build on my h2h and looks great with the skyq skin but i cant seem to get the channel number to show on the front display only the clock....thanks for any help

There is an H2H WooshBuild for download. Cable or cable/sat boxes use ABM and not ABE2 as it is for sat only.

Yes you get both Sat and Cable with the H2H.

If you don't want Satellite channels you need to go into Auto Bouquet Maker settings and disable Sky (menu -> Setup -> Service & Searching -> Auto bouquet maker), this will just bring in Cable. If you have both cable and a satellite dish then you can bring in both.

Hi, I have the wooshbuild installed on a zgemma h2s. I also have a ccam line for uk and European channels. The problem I am having is that every so often I have to restart the cam. This particularly happens when I am trying channels with low signal strength. Any ideas how I stop this requirement to constantly restart the line??

Thanks,
Andrew

My euro lines are super glitchy on UK channels and just freeze. Have you had a UK line test yet to see if that makes a difference?

I've had a UK line on it before and it was fine. To be fair my line at the minute isn't too glitchy. It's glitchy on comedy central and a few others where signal level is pretty low, but generally good on the rest and great on euro channels even with maybe only 70% signal level. It's just that any line I've had before I've never had to restart, whereas this time if I'm not getting any picture, I will go into softcam it will say 'no cam', and I have to toggle over to ccam and restart to get it going again. Could it be the line, or is there something I could do in softcam panel to make sure it stays locked on that line?

menu button>set up>usage & GUI>display>LED display....change it to what you want.mines set for the channel no to show then it switches to clock.

Mr Wooshman.
I asked, some time ago, if you would be doing a build for a VU+ Solo SE V2.
You said no, as you didn't have one to work on. I was wondering, if I was to post you mine, could you possibly do a version?
Maybe it is too big a job & doesn't merit it? I don't mind making a payment for your work.
I'm running Openvix now, but no comparison to my h2s. Wish I hadn't bought it, & they are expensive too, in comparison.
Cheers.

Apologies in advance for the crosspost but:

When browsing some of the settings (specifically samba and miniDLNA) I get a message saying feeds are being checked and then eventually another saying "feeds are down for maintenance". The config page for the particular service then closes.

This seems to be a fairly common issue, but I can't seem to find any reference to 1) why feeds need to be checked for what appears to be local services and 2) how to resolve the issue.

I installed openvpn successfully using "opkg install openvpn" but this didn't have any effect. I only flashed wooshbuild a week or so ago, so I'm assuming I don't need to do that again.

Perhaps something worth stickying or placing in a FAQ?

PS wooshbuild is amazing - just using for FTA channels alone beats the sky box imo.

Further to the above, I tried Willobuild and that works as expected. miniDNLA works perfectly.

I think Woosh is failing to install the service on first use. Can this be done manually for the time being?

Has anyone noticed that there has been no plugin updates in the last few days?? or software updates too??

Is it Woosh or Openatv?

Thanks
