IPTV bouquets will be backed up. no idea about how you put them there though so don't know what, if anything, will be backed up. VPN is stored in a folder called openvpn in the etc folder. I don't think this gets backed up as standard.

Blue button -> select additional back file - this will let you choose what extra files and or folders you want backing up when you do a settings backup. You can add your folders there.

Everywhere you post you keep saying something in 7 was not like that in 6. Please understand that 7 uses the new version of openATV (6.2) which has many core changes and lots of files changes. WooshBuild, other than a new skin and a couple added features to WB Config, nothing has changed. I put the same stuff on every image since version 3. If you would like to go back to 6, please ask and I will send you the download link if you didn't have a backup of your box before you flashed.

Cool many thanks...right got it. Ok so the VPN options are from the latest OPENATV6.2? so i wouldn't be able ftp any files that can apply this to woosh V6?

Typo sorry, openATV 6.1

openVPN is provided by openATV but this runs elsewhere on the box. The only files you would need to backup for your VPN is the etc/openvpn folder. If you used the VPN adder then a settings backup will remember you username, password, provider and VPN country.

IPTV is different as there are a loads of ways it is being added. The bouquets will always be backed up but this doesn't mean when restored they will update.

Hahaha thought bit strange couldn't see the 6.2 on their website..Flashing back to V6 is there anyway please i could add the VPN plug in after?
 
Not at the moment no. It is only available in WB7. But if you backup your settings including the openvpn folder it will restore your details and you would just need to install the openvpn service - which is a manual telnet job. Which has already been posted about in this thread.

I don't actually know what will happen when you go backwards with a settings backup and never tried. You will be going back to an old openATV which is no longer updated. If you have problems though I will just tell you to flash 7.

What box do you need the 6 link for please?

Hi simple question...

How do I change the location in Wooshbuild 7? Ive just updated from 6 and it hasnt put the correct location in for me.

You have to put your netid in manually, got to tuner config and into the cable tuner, put the netid in where it says network id
 
i downloaded the base build for the h2h i comes down as folder called sh1, so made folder on the usb called zgemma added the sh1 folder to it but it wont flash, its not the usb stick as I've used it before for other images?
 
Hi Im unable to do this.

Plus when I go to do a scan my satellite is set at 13.0E Eutelsat instead of Astra 28.2

I think something has gone wrong
 
@wooshman Great build thanks for all your hard work,i've only been using it for a few weeks everything runs smoothly and you've made the upgrade process so easy thanks again :)

I have just downloaded the H2H BaseBuild directly from the website so I am doing the same as everyone else and the H2H image is correct. You have downloaded the wrong image. Have a closer look and download the right one.

Nothing is wrong. If you never backed up and restored your settings, then you will need to configure your tuners again to take into account that you want to scan 13.0E. WooshBuild has never been setup to scan anything other than 28.2 so you have successfully changed it in the past.

Depending on your box, I am guessing an H2S, you will need to uninstall Auto Bouquet E2 and install Auto Bouquet Maker - again, something you or someone else has done in the past. ABM will then need configuring.

It depends how you use your box though. I scan 19.2 but just keep the channels in the "last scanned" bouquet, but i still had to setup my tuners.
 
Just updated to V7.002 from V7 on h2s. On V7 i had the digibit plugin installed and working but now i cannot get it to work. When i installed it after upgrading to V7.002 it came back with all of my login details etc. When i try to start the vpn i just get the blue spinning circle in the top left of the screen. Are there still problems with the plugin or have i missed something. Any help will be very much appreciated.....
 
Please help. Still stuck on boot on zgemma h2s and have 3 USB sticks with no luck on flashing. Please see pictures to confirm I'm installing from right area - cheers

Just updated a h2s using wb from V6 and it only installed v7. Did it again and it installed 7.2

Check your update guys.

Ps. It's doesn't have the skyq skin or the vpn adder. I'm trying to add my pia vpn and can't see how to do it.
