I did flash my box with latest Wooshbuild and imported my line then setup everything as I wanted without restore any backup. It's a bit of a pain but a good way to familiarise yourself with the menu system and then once I had everything working as I wanted I did a full backup. Fingers crossed all is well.

Hi Wooshman,
I have just updated my H3.2TC box with 7.02
Put the base build on A usb stick with my cam file and everything went fine.
All channels worked straight away. It copied my cam over at the same time.
I just restored my settings and downloaded the SkyQ skin in the plugins and everything works perfect.

I updated from an older version of wooshbuild doing the flash on the fly to a version of open atv 6.1 now I don't have aNY wooshbuild on my h5 2tc box could anuone shed any ligbt on this or do i completely need to reflash with a local downloaded wooshbuild update.

You flashed a clean openATV which is why you see no WooshBuild. Nowhere in WB 5 or 6 will you have read instructions to use flash only fly.

You need to download BaseBuild now and start from there. If you backed up your settings before you flashed on the fly you will be able to restore these once WB is up and running.
 
Hi guys. I have a probably stupid question. But just wondered :
I have v7 and it's awesome. Running cable and dish and iptv. Sometimes my file list says recorded and sometimes it says downloaded on my recorded shows. How come?

my usb keeps unmounting itself so to speak, 2-3 times since i updated yesterday,
as far as i can tell its initialised and swap file is done set to 255 and active with tick,
tried to go through the steps again and box crashes

Iwould try another USB then....it hasn't really come up in the thread so it's not a common thing.
 
hi ive got a zgemma enigma 2 with whooshbuild v5 , ive currently got whats left of a gift and can still get a few channels ive also got iptv that i need a vpn for that ive got on my pc
im wanting in simple terms on how to upgrade to version 7 so i can add my digibit vpn to my zgemma and also id like it in the sly skin as this is what the wifes used to , if poissible id like to keep my gift that ive already got running , how do i go on thanks

if you go in the wb cofig green button>top plugin>then look for reflash wooshbuild,its pretty straight forward.it will be default to the wb freesat skin but you can change to sky....once v7 is installed.go into wb config again and look for the change skin section,the wbsky skin is in there.
 
Hey Wooshman. Thanks alot of providing the latest update for the H5.2TC.

The upgrade works fine, the only thing that was missing was Chabs VM-HD skin which i had to manually reinstall. Everything else works great. After upgrading the wooshbuild, the updates also worked fine.

@gray1313 - Your instructions were spot on. I wanted to expand on the instructions in case some novices require more indepth instructions.

Press Blue Button on the remote to enter Software Manager

Select Complete Backup, then Select Backup Settings.

Press Green Button on the remote to enter Plugin Browser

Select --WB Config-- to enter WooshBuild Configuration.

Select Re-Flash WooshBuild

Once Wooshbuild has been upgrade restore your settings.

Press Blue Button on the remote to enter Software Manager

Select Restore Settings.

The box will reboot with your settings restored. You will need add your VM skin back to the box, as the VM HD Skin is not included in the latest Wooshbuild.

thanks , what about my gift that i still get some sly channels on would this still work

Which skin is the latest as all of Chabs' plugins are in the skins section on WooshBuild boxes.

WooshBuild is there so users don't have to do manual stuff

it will ask you to back up your setting before you flash....once flashed go into the wb config to where it says restore settingfs...before you dom it might be worth making a back up.....make a new file on your pc and call it backupstick.put on a empty usb...insert in to front of box.....press blue button...you'll see a make full back up option.go in to that and it will say back up on usb...select that and it will make a full back up of how your box is now.
 
Just update Wooshbuild from 6 to 7.0002 using Wooshbuild plugin.

Big thank you to all involved!!!

Updated and set everything up including IPTV in about 30 mins.

Everything is working the way it should.
