Just go in to the wbconfig down to reflash woosbuild and just hit the reflash option...it will update you to the latest v7. remember to back up your settings before you do so. or even create a full mirror back up incase anything goes wrong.

I have flash my box with the latest whooshbuild. It's been a few days now but my epg still hasn't updated. I found the EPG menu, but when I try to Import, it says no active EPG sources found, nothing to import. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If they are not already selected, you need to go into EPG Import, select sources and go down to the bottom. Open the Sky / VM section and select all 6. Save and then do a manual scan.
 
Just made my own custom bouquet,
When I go to epg regardless of what channel I'm on the epg always shows the first block of channels.
E.g., I'm watching 613 children's channel and click epg , the epg shows first block of channels.
Easy fix or just something to live with.
 
If I understand you correctly, the EPG goes to the first channel of the bouquet you are in. It is a setting which is part of openATV - there isn't an easy fix as nothing is broken. Just find and change the settings so the epg shows you the current channel.

I can't remember where it is off the top of my head so you will find it as quickly as I would. Personally I would start by pressing the EPG button followed by the menu button and see if it is an option in there.

Blue spinner - have you tried a different USB to see if it makes a difference? Maybe you are on an IPTV channel at the same time?

Thanks for that info have changed things to media/hdd in the Mount Manager.
But when I try to record anything I get "Disk Full" ( its 32g and empty ) or " there may not be enough space " and always get " The directory/media/hdd is not a EXT2,EXT3,EXT4,NFS OR CIFS partition .
Make sure you select a valid partition type.
The drive is formatted Fat 32 is that correct ?
 
Hi when I turn on digibit VPN I can't get any IPTV when I turn it off IPTV is OK anybody got any ideas?thanks also its on zgemma 2s

No, the drive needs to be initialised. Have a look in the FAQs on how to add a larger drive. This tells you ho to initialise. BaseBuild will have asked you to do this at some point on flashing WB the first time around.

This isn't a WooshBuild issue, we just added the ability to easily add your VPN to the box. If your IP address changes (press 4 to refresh) when it says you have connected to VPN then VPN is working. IPTV through VPN isn't anything to do with WB. But, I think, and it is a think, your IPTV provider needs to allow VPN. But make a new thread asking the question and those in the know may be able to help.
 
Wrong thread.

This thread is for WooshBuild and plugins which have been written for WooshBuild. Not IPTV, VPN or Android.

IPTV questions need to go to your IPTV provider
VPN issues need to go to the VPN provider - unless you are 100% sure it is my plugin with the problem
Android could be posted in a new thread so someone might help.
 
Easy VPN Adder plugin - UPDATE

We have now added Nord to the list of VPN providers in the Easy VPN Adder plugin.

If not already installed, it can be found in the wooshbuild section of the plugins screen.

The connected VPN detection time varies between providers with Nord currently taking 8 seconds to get a true connection state. Any less than this and the Nord VPN server was not responding giving a connected OK image but no change of IP. Other providers are set to 4 seconds.

Current VPN providers in the plugin:
  1. Digibit
  2. PIA (Private internet access)
  3. IP Vanish
  4. Nord
Please note that I nor any of the Wooshbuild team make a penny from writing this plugin. We do not recommend VPN providers and are not responsible if some of their servers in the list do not connect. We have created the plugin to make it easy to use an account. The currently 4 providers are names we have heard of. It doesn't mean they are any good.

We still have one or two more to add to the plugin.

Menu / setup / recordings and timeshift / timeshift settings

Change automatically start timeshift after: from disabled to 2 seconds

Make sure time shift location is set to media/HDD/timeshift

Time shift is enabled as standard, or at least should be.

Menu -> Setup -> Recording / Timeshift -> Timeshift settings -> Automatically start timeshift after - 2 seconds (wooshbuild default)

The duration is how long to have the channel running before timeshift will start. If set to 2 seconds you can normally go right back to when you first switched channel. If set to 5 minute, you would only be able to go back to 5 minute after you changed channel. Sky have this set as 1 second so you can rewind to the start.
 
Is easy vpn addon plugin available without wooshbuild just i would really like it but my octagon sf4008 isnt suported on wooshbuild wish it was

Mines a right pain aswell. The only way I can get mine to work is if you reboot the box from clicking the power off at the back and make sure you have auto connect turn on for the vpn
 
Hi Guys, hoping someone can offer any advice, can I flash wooshbuild v7 on my VU+ Solo SE box? I ask because this specific model of VU+ doesn't have a build specifically for it but if I was to say download the vu+ zero build and renamed the folder from zero to solose would that flash on my box
