when you go to swap file set it to 255 or 256 then yellow button to put a tick in the box then red to activate and also make sure the swap file is set to media/hdd/swapfile also make sure in mount manager that that is also set to media/hdd

Thanks, I already did that but I asked a) is this swap file meant to be activated automatically i.e. is this a bug in Setup and b) would this lack of swap file after I flashed be the cause of the blue spinning circle/5 second freezes?

Hello all

I installed the latest V7 wooshbuild on Zgemme 5.2tc. All went smoothly. I have 2 questions.

1. The picons are not showing up when I place the picon folder on the HDD. It still always shows the grey icons. Wonder how I can install picons.

2. The sky skin does not show progress bar on the info bar. I tried the settings but could not enable it. Any way to enable this?

Many thanks

No it was never automatically setup, AFAIK, the user always had to set it up but after that ( as you now know) it can be mounted automatically.

The most common cause of the dreaded spinner is autorecord and timeshift being enabled (esp. with slow USB devices). Go into the "Timshift" menu and disable both and see how you get on then.

Remove any installed picons first and then install the ones you want to the location you want.

i dont have the AutoBoquets E2 listed.
How do i get that?
If you are running a cable box then Autobouquets E2 is no good for you as it is for satellite only.

The swap file should be mounted automatically. If it isn't it means I have missed something my end. I will get it resolved.

If using basebuild from scratch it creates the swap file for you and when WB is flashed it is enabled.

If you choose the option not to delete existing data on the usb within BaseBuild it skips the swap file crate presuming you already have one. It should have still enabled it though so I must have missed something in setting up WB 7.

Cheers, Woosh, as they say "every day's a school day".

Thank you for the quick reply. Removing pre-installed picons worked! thanks. How will I get the progress bar on the default sky skin?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for..........

Green/WBconfig/Change Skin....../Show EPG Timeline
Default is yellow, but if you change that it displays more clearly.

I am looking for the progress bar of the current channel on the info bar. that is when you press OK once.
