friends supplier told him this......

Because of recent activities in Europe. Our Xtream codes panel is down at this moment. but all your data is safe. Our technical guys are working hard to get everything back online. Our streams are not affected by this. All channels are working fine. Please wait for some time and accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience

Just had an email from Xtream editor:

'Dear users.

We want to make it clear that we have nothing to do with Xtream Codes Ltd. Since the name of our service sounds very similar and we do not want to be associated with it, we will change the name. New is our service XEEV Playlist Editor.

Our website is now available at https://xeev.net. The old domain https://xtream-editor.com remains. You can continue to use the existing download link.

Nothing changes with us. At least not negative. Rather, we try to make the service even better. In a few days we will release a big update for our Android app. Our developers are also making good progress with the Smart TV app. This should be finished by the end of the year. In the new year, an Apple tvOS app is planned. The Enigma2 plugin gets an update and our website gets a fresh look.

As you can see, we have a lot to do. We wish you a nice weekend.

The XEEV Team'

Translation:
we were perfectly happy to be mistaken for and/or associated with Xtream Codes which is why we stole their name.
Now they have gone we are no longer happy to be associated with or mistaken for this shower of sh!te and so we have renamed ourselves and we are hoping that d!ckheads like you will continue to grapple with our unusable, idiotic interface that works when it feels like it, cheers

Hi all, I guess all is aware of whats happened over past few days you only need to read the thread to find out.

Now onto hopefully more important questions.?

Anyone out there who provides lines can come in and update us the end customer on whats happening with the migration from what I belief is now defunct panels to new panels/servers.
Maybe some info from somebody who has moved across to new server/panel.
How long its taking. How long it may take. Just general info of anyone who provides lines on the current situation?
Thanks for any info on this. Chris.

It's down to the original supplier. think of it as a spiders web. the original source is the centre. where are you in that web. have you buy from a seller whos bought at source... then it'll be a few hours to few days till new stable panels are set up. or a you of those who have bought off a reseller, who also bought off a reseller, who again bought off a reseller ect. ect.ect...
Just wait some are backon line using the same code.. be patient

Thanks @lamblamb @de.ath Much appreciated.
Just need to know now if anyone is back up yet on new panels then we can kind of guess a time scale of the next few days/weeks.
And also how stable the end product is for us customers, I guess that answer comes from some one who,s been running on new panels/server/crack copy of Xc for at least a short period of time?
Thanks again Chris.

Strangely mine hasn't gone off. the signal to the zgemma stopped. i just transfered it to a streamer and connect into my tv, to continue viewing.
this morning the enigma is back on line.

VOD on my enigma hasn't changed and was never effected. the channel line up back on the enigma has changed considerably ... but who cares. once all the dust has settled no doubt it'll be back to normal..

Having looked at a few, even providers that never used XC are having some issues, they say some of the stream providers used XC as well. Other providers reported trying to migrate to various panels but none are 100% and it will take time for other panel providers to upscale.

Overall I find that many streams are working but can be very slow to start.

Well I'm all off now.. Not a single channel working! Wonder if this is a sign of being migration?

Is anybody on a provider who has successfully completed a migration yet?. My own provider states they are waiting and operating with a partially operating channel list for as long as possible as so many other providers have tried migration to something else and failed, leaving them completely dead.

I could never understand why, given the alleged amount of money being turned over with the larger providers ( with thousands of subscribers), why they didn't just go to one of the many Freelance portals and outsource the skills of a developer and coder to write them a custom, self hosted solution on which to run and control their own infrastructure. That relatively small investment, would be paying off hugely now and in the future by avoiding yet another centrally hosted solution which carries a huge risk of the same thing happening all over again.
