it's just left of the picture preview, not sure if you wanted to move it up there? i wouldn't know how personally lol

i'm waiting for this also; i've looked over the net and the latest update of official sly r014 uses the third infobar

i'd prefer the 3rd infobar instead of the snr / tuner used as i can see the tuners and snr in my lcd screen - got the duo2

kiddac was asking a few days ago if it's something we would like to see in a future update even if its optional through extras.xml , perhaps if this is a possibility for a future release people who want to see the snr /tuner info also could maybe move it to where the ecm info is; just thinking out loud :)

3rd prog is already coded up for the infobar. Patience my friends. I was just having a bit of a mare trying to incorporate it into extras.xml
I had to juggle about with picons, different layouts for infobars, different layouts for secondinfobar. I have managed to do this now in a reasonable simple form for extras.xml...so all is now good. I have also managed to add in some ellipsis. They are not perfect but they work a good 90% of the time.



I am not putting in the blue button last/favs as the box doesn't work that way. If you want to hack that in feel free.
I am also keeping the progress bar as that is useful. Again you can hack this out if you don't want it.

I will also colour the epg tabs bouquet as well. That's a simple thing to do and saves having it in a mod file.

in infobar.xml , line 130 is where the 'ok' button lives ; and line 132/133 is the info button and text - if you still wanted to remove it i guess it should be a case of taking the lines out or adding in <!-- --> to the beginning / end to disable the command?

I may be wrong but could be worth a shot :)

Thats the icon for info but can't find the text that goes with it

I was going to try and remove the menu button and then move the info so that it mirrors the official sly epg - but I haven't the faintest idea what position number replaces it to move it there or where the text 'info' is to go with it

Would you be able to help kiddac? Just trying to remove the menu button on epg, and move the info button and the text 'info' to the top of the epg below the event description, amending it to 'Press (i) for more' :

On another note; i've tweaked the infobar a little :

left/right brings up single or multi epg. It doesn't scroll through time.
blue button - goes to extensions or quick menu and not last/favs
menu button is useful (and when you get a million questions asking how to I change this setting, you can understand wjy I include what buttons can be pressed on each screen).

Fine for your build. It's not fine for the masses though.

Do any of you skin modding legends know if this is possible?

When on epg screen using the sly tabs hack, on the current bouquet you are on instead of being blue by default is there a way to change the colour to yellow like official sly?

Also, on post #32 there is a mod to remove the lines in between the tabs to look more like sly, and the epgselection.py file is there to download, however i have my own little tweaks in the default one so does anybody know which part of the epgselection.py needs to be modified to remove the lines in between?

okay, that makes sense, i said before i don't think ahead! glad everyone else is haha!

Would it be a possibility to instead remove the 'i' button and 'info' text on the epg , and just use a picture of 'Press (i) for more' to sit to the left of the picture preview? hopefully i make sense, not the best at explaining

I've just ftp'd the mods and epg.xml from your Dropbox and seem to have lost all text off the planner (Inc planner menu) any idea of the cause? It was definitely working before & I haven't changed anything else

guys you may need to amend your infobar mods though. They will not be compatible with the latest release as i have moved the main infobar screen into extras.xml and the body of infobar is now a template.
