SkyQ Skin

It'd be great to add in the mods for the infobar to 1.7 Chabs.

The mods are there for personal preference. I dont want to break python files as these are different for the images...and then all sort of questions will be asked...

Could you potentially break Python files by using Markus's mod with a different image? I didn't realize

When pressing OK and getting this up. Is there a way of scrolling through the channels whilst keeping this view? eg if I press channel up or down it would change the info but the main picture would stay on the same tv channel that I am watching.

You need virtual zap plugin for that

Is the Virtual Zap in your Dropbox that you mentioned in another post back in May the correct one?

Great skin.

My only problem is when I go forward +24 hours to set a timer recording, as soon as I hit record it automatically takes me back to today's epg and the recording isn't present in my timers. I can record anything within that day's epg.

I think it was mentioned on here before, but I couldn't refine the post.

Thanks and keep up the great work.

I think I'm being a bit thick here. Where do I find the attached ipk file? Apologies I'm using a tablet as don't currently own a desktop so might be missing the point.

Hi,

Followed you advice earlier on in the thread, page 100 I think, and I wrote the cron timers instructions. They are both listed in the cron manager - 'picks' hourly and 'scrape' daily - the auto start is active and it's running, but nothing has changed in the last 24 hours.

For info I'm running the latest Whooshbuild and downloaded your skin from the plug-ins list.

Thanks.

What image are you using?

If it's a vix image the instructions are slightly different as I had the same problem

To be honest, I haven't a clue which image I'm using.

How do I find out, and what are the instructions for the different image?

Thanks.

You need to look in the information menu and it will tell you what image you are using
If it is a openvix image then it uses a different scriot folder to run the scripts which is why it may not be running.

Have a quick look and if it is a openvix image let me know and I'll guide you through what to do

Hi,

Looked in the information menu and no-reference to image in any of the the sub-menus. Lists model, chipset, build, but no-image.

I then pressed the green button then menu and in the set-up menu - plugin filter, vix is listed with the comment 'no' after it.

Thanks.

Sounds like you have a vix image then.

Right ftp into your receiver and navigate to
usr/ directory
You will see there are 2 folders one named script and one named scripts
Openvix up until yesterday used the scripts folder rather than the script folder (as instructed in the first post)
Copt the scripts from the script folder into scripts folder
Then once that's done
On your receiver menu navigate to the cron timer menu and run the scripts from the pre defined open as they should now show up.
Once you have run them then set them up to run how you would like and that should work fine.

Note the new openvix builds from yesterday onwards have now dropped the scripts folder so the info in page 1 will now work on the newest vix builds

Although when I had the issue the pre defined scripts for the scrape and picks didn't show up in the pre defined option.

Also you must manually run the script first from cron timers before leaving it to the auto timer otherwise it won't run for some reason as I think it populates a new folder for the images

Hi,

When I go into the usr directory there is the script folder which contains the commands, but no-scripts folder. Closest to it is 'src' which is empty..

Do I need to create a new folder?

If I create a new folder, the original commands have /usr/script in the command not scripts, so would that need to be changed?

Do I need to back to the plug/ins menu and put 'yes' against the vix image instead of no - if possible.

Thanks for the input

I have an openatv box, do i just have to ftp it to /tmp and then use the gui or do I have to use the telnet command?
