Hi, just after some feedback from you guys, im getting fed up of having a loft full of expensive free view boxes, i have now been using a firestick, for iptv, for the last 12mths. it has its problems as usual, crashing freezing etc. i am now on the verge of buying another box, namely the zgemma h2h, to hook up to my virmin, but i dont want to waste my money if these are now having issues with lost channels etc, been there done all that. hence the overload in my loft. So can any of you who has been using these boxes tell me if its about to go down any time soon?. or would i be better off, getting a decent iptv box. Any info would be greatful

Thanks

Nobody apart from virgin and the security company working on their behalf knows when it’s going to go so it’s pointless asking and anyone who tells you they know any different is talking out their arse.

Thanks for your reply, i understand no one will know, what i mean is any of you guys noticed its getting worse, just like when sly went down, from what im reading around forums, the HD channels are already going,

Only sky sports HD have gone, we knew this was coming as virgin themselves said that the sports HD package would no longer be available on older boxes. Nothing else has gone yet, and there’s no actual indication that anything will go at the moment.

IPTV is the way forward at present but for how long is anyones guess.
Lots of speculation and many rumours including yesterdays little story of sky being rehacked but the team want 500k to release it---cobblers as usual.
Will cable go, will sky/disney reappear?---No one knows but I do know it's not worth splashing out on new toys until the fat lady screams.
Reaper.

500K is a bargain if i can get sole rights on selling the boxes

to the OP, if you buy a box that can handle multiple services, you can use VM until it becomes useless then use iptv on the same box, there are several that can handle vm and iptv at the same time, also, using iptv for everything seems like a huge ball-ache to me, people streaming emmerdale farm when they only really need it for sports / movies / vod

Where are they for sale at that price, web search bringing up boxes in excess of £200
its ok just found them on WoS, so i guess i could also run my virmin on this box as well as iptv. just a bit concerned as to what i would need to flash it etc

I have a zgemma and The Virmin side has already started to lose the channels, (sky sports HD) it will be a matter of time before the rest disappear, this is why they are giving away their v6 boxes, just like sky did with turning all the original sky boxes off anyone then that lost picture were sent out new boxes
