If you are currently running wooshbuild or any atv image you could also flash it online which saves the need of flashing from usb and is easier
Blue button > flash online local > green (online)
choose the latest one then green to flash
Once flashed you are at step one of the instructions

Hey thanks for the reply, I've flashed it to openatv 6.2 but now im stuck, its completely different. The channel listings are HD Austria Polsat etc instead of uk ones. I've no idea what i've done to be honest

OK, what steps have you done since it has been stuck on boot?

Download the latest openATV for your box and flash it from USB and start setup again. You haven't said what box you are using so I can't give you direct link.

Select you manufacturer and then box from the list on the left and download the latest version available.
Extract the zip to a USB, turn the box off and remove any other USB devices and insert the flash USB
Turn the box on and use the manufacturers method to start the flash. A zgemma is by pressing the front power button when the displayhs says USB / UPDT. A Vu+ Solo4k tells you on the display to press the front button.

Once you have flashed atv, you need to open webif and put in the infinity command using terminal.
Follow the instructions carefully

I will go re read the instructions, my usb keeps failing to initialise says failed to write superblocks I dont think im gonna get very far haha thanks :)

I done all this too but not getting a terminal when on openwebif. Im using mutant 500c. Tried putty to install infinity. Box stuck on boot loop showing infinity before it meant to reboot with infinity set up in background.

I am changing from a vix image to opentv, if that makes any difference.

I dont know if this will work for you, but a guy on here flashed a zgemma lc and that had no terminal.
He flashed atv 6.1 and used putty and it worked.
I know 6.1 is old now and no longer updated but seemed to work ok

I'll give it a try before I try a factory reset on box before flashing again. Thanks mate.
 
Infinity will run on openATV 6.3, has done from the first day it became a public beta release. I run it on my test box. Seems more stable than it was and still has a couple of elements missing but apart from that it runs as normal, but Infinity will install on 6.3 no problem.
 
quick question @wooshman
whenever i set up h2h boxes with infinity it always fails on scanning for channels for sky uk even though the aerial and lnb is fine..

says no valid nim as far as i recall

i then have to manually scan channels later to get it to work which is a pain tbh
 
Hi I have Wooshbuild 6 on my zgemma h2s. I have IPTV installed.
If I updated to Infinity would I have to install my IPTV again or are all settings kept.

DO NOT "factory re-set" box, this doest not work as expected ie. restored to a clean build, but rather it will "wipe" the box of any build and will NOT boot.

Oh. Will it not even let me flash open6.2 from usb if i factory reset? Thought that would have been my problem solved.

Does anyone know why terminal wont show on openwebif after flashing 6.2? I done it a few times in my own zgemma. Stumped with how to get this boot loop problem sorted.

you need to format the usb with bootice here it is you will have to unzip it

Is there a direct link to click on to get and try WBI (h2 cable only) nothing doing or to click on in D/L section just keep going back and forth to same pages with nowhere to click download on....... Also, do i have to flash atv 6.2 First on the box ? before then flashing Wooshbild Infinity afterwards or is it all built it ready to go , Thx.

There no direct dl for infinity follow this guide exactly and you will have wooshbuild infinity on your box http://www.techkings.org/threads/wooshbuild-infinity-for-all-enigma2-boxes.140702/

got to put open atv 6.2 on first after flashing stop were it says hdmi then go to first page of this thread click th infinity link at top of page and read carefully
