IPTV understanding

so isp providers can differentiate between someone streaming iptv from a amazon fire stick ? Then why not go after people when they were watching Satelitte or now watching cable? now think before you post a silly retort.
Bottom line is that certain suppliers ip addresses are on a blacklist for the time the football is on so there for you can not connect unless with a vpn, pm if you would like a few links to articles on it to educate yourself about what is happening, what happened over the weekend and how to get round and I do know that a vpn works as I use the supplier mentioned in some of the articles as changing the domain name and ip address so why you would disagree with so many saying vpn works is beyond me and it just looks like you are bright enough to understand

There is no point in going round and round with this would you like me to pm you the articles or a simple google search will bring you the articles about the English Premier League court injunction for the duration of the match

Having read all these posts, im really confusd. My knowledge of all this is minimal.
I just want my sky channels back.
Do I need to buy a IPTV subscription that has a VPN?

Yes you will need a vpn for the duration of the EPL football matches if your supplier is one of those effected I will pm you a link to an article explaining what is happening a vpn is pretty simple to set up whichever device you are using so it is easily sorted and not very expensive unless you wish to spend more of course

ask provider for a test during a match to make sure he isn't telling porkies, and to confuse things more for you Sparky7ot don't forget if your supplier/reseller is trying to sort it out he will have his server off line and all the vpn`s in the world wont let you see his supply.

Get an IPTV subscription, wait until the weekend, if it knocks off when the football starts then get yourself a VPN. What device are you using?

Just to throw this in here. VPN providers also keep records/logging. Maybe not all but some do so traffic can still recorded for A to B.

The ones that don't log can have problems with prime ect getting blocked.

I dont know why people think a VPN wont work, its only people with UK ip addresses that are being blocked, I'm in ROI and I'm not being blocked and I know plenty of other people in Ireland all with different suppliers from the UK and none have had any problems with last weeks PL matches, a VPN can give you a IP address so that it looks like your in a different country.
The process of blocking content for an ISP is very simple. After all, any content that is coming from a website to your computer has to travel through the ISP, giving it ample opportunity to block the content. A vpn will bypass your isp and route the content through another isp in a different country who is not bound by the law in the UK .
