No satalite signal

Sorry, I meant send the photo to the seller on ebay with the measurements.
It looks the same as the one on ebay, just message him for the measurements to be sure.

thats the 'newish' version of the sky bracket, I got a 40mm one of those for 4£ [ from ebay ] when I needed to fit a quattro LNB to my old dish,
add to that a single 40mm LNB and its gonna be under a tenner easily, plus future proofs it if you want to change LNB again
I may even have one kicking about, I'll have a look after I've had my dinner if you want

youve lost me a bit this is a quad and I need a quad so don’t know what you mean by future proofing.
I know this bracket comes off the lnb. So what I think your saying is I just need the quad lnb as I already have the bracket ? I thought they come together ?

You can buy the lnb port separately I change from a 4 like yours to an 8 port lnb for my dish off amazon only £6 i think

ye, as @bazcfc1 says, they come seperately,
if you get a 40mm bracket, then you can fit any LNB you want to in future,
if you are happy enough using sky sized LNB then just get an LNB to fit the bracket you already have

So the bracket I have how do I mesure if mine is 40mm are we talking about diameter of the ring? Or Length of arm?

inside diameter
if its standard sky, it wont be 40mm,
iirc, its 32 or 37 or something equally stupid

Mine was just standard what sky put up lucky me lol

So my next questions haha
If I get a different 40 mm lnb what’s the benifits of this on a sky dish?
V. A sky lnb with either quad or octo connections ?

no benefit,
except that 40mm LNB is the industry standard, and therefore tend to be cheaper, and more readily available.
but you have the added expense of the new bracket to start with.

I’ve bought a new quad from amazon £12. Now just need to think about rotation of it I think it’s the skew angle the old one has numbers up the side 1 to 5 I think

The two arrows at the side line up between 2/3 3/4 depending on your location in the U.k Simple guide if you
Look at your dish face on the skew angle
of the l.n.b usually sets at 7oclock It is
important to have the skew angle correct

Is this easy enough to find or am I best off just setting it the same as the old one I assume it’s not moved?

Set the skew angle excatily the same Check with your meter to see what the
signal quality is

New lnb fitted all working great let’s hope it’s good in bad weather
I have signal quality of 76%. And intensity of 89%. On my openbox v5s. Is the good bad. Or just ok?

different TPs will be different readings,
channel I'm currently on is SNR 66% AGC 91%
anything over 60% quality seems fairly stable on my set up
