128gb usb stick ok to use for timeshift/ recording etc?

Thinking of buying a SanDisk usb stick, save the Hdd spinning up etc
Would this be ok?

i would prefare to use hdd for recordings,and usb for epg and picons which would need to be permanently inserted into box,never felt the need for timeshift yet.

Well I've only 1 usb slot at back, and didn't want to have to plug one in at the front with the panel hanging down.

Going out later, don't know what to buy Usb stick or Hdd?
Starting to get fed up with this box, gone really sluggish and wife complaining that the sly channels keep going black, then I have to reboot it.

Can't record to my nas, which would be ideal so I then could plug usb in back for Epg.

Don't know weather to re flash or not and start again?

yes more than likely,you might have to set it up again from scratch and if downloading epg to internal flash omg can corrupt flash.that box should be fast but something is wrong if sluggish.

I used Forcefire image, might just flash that again, it doesn't need to much setting up.
