Am getting this on VU+ Duo 2 in plugins and software update anyone know how to get rid of it getting on me t**s.

are you on a very old image=no access to plugins and software update? possibly box is needing a reflash

Thats what im trying to avoid got it as i like it hate reflashing my own stuff.virtuosso image or summat like that not reflashed for donkeys lol.Is latest vix best for my magnetic personality cacti lol or you recommend summat else:)

Think it's a reflash job sadly. If you pm hotchef he had this error.

I know this is an old thread but thought I would offer a different reply.

I c0cked something up in my duo2 after playing with kodi and tried to re-install from a backup. Got half way thru then started looping on the error message of the background check.

Kept counting down to 9 then starting again, no keys would work. Couldn't get out of it until I did a hard reboot with the box power key on the remote. Box rebooted, and was fine after that.
