Backup manager vs image manager on vix

Hi trying to save everything on usb so i can flash the box, if anthing goes wrong with another backup image...can someone with the knowledge tell me what's the difference on vix got 2 option as save.

backup manager

will save it to hdd or usb which ever you have

but use ftp and navagate to hdd or usb and drag to pc

Thanks lan.. so I should use backup manager option ...was planning to back it all up and place it on pc....so what's the other option used for image manager in vix option.....not so many h.s image's. going to try another image and hopefully my noise between adverts disappear and hopefully better sd picture instead of blotchey text on sd will go away.

Backup manager backs up your settings so you can restore settings when flashing another image.

Imagemanager creates a full backup of your image.

So image manager backs up setting as well but backup manager only saves setting....so confusing at times.

Yes image manager does a full backup of your image to flash on another box or to reflash on you box.

Backup manager just backs up your settings so if you flash another image you can restore the settings
