Possibly... I'm multi-tasking here lol
A different PSU will sometimes get a box running that's stuck on boot with the red light though.

your psu may simply be dying,
so try [possibly] a slighty bigger one,
ie : if its a 12v 2A PSU now, try a 12v 3A one, as long as the voltage is the same and the amps are the same, or preferrably, higher, it will/should work

just be careful what the jack size is,
most are 2.1mm , but, I've noticed my Formuler F1 is actually 2.5mm

here is a switched mode PSU, slightly more expensive, but a cleaner output if that concerns you

so if that works replace it with a slightly larger rating one
