Box is running really slow

you've probably put a digit in incorrectly if you've done it manually, this is why it's easier to copy/paste the line in using a laptop and filezilla, takes ten seconds.
You only need to get a space wrong and the line won't work 01 02 0304 05 will never work in the deskey
also if password is 'Password' and you've typed 'password', it'll never work.....don't post any line details publicly

1) you'll need filezilla, download it from: https://filezilla-project.org/download.php

2) next you'll need the zgemma's ip address, so on remote, press menu>information> network, write ip addy down

3) open filezilla and type in the zgemma ip address in 'host'

4) type root in username and click 'quick connect'

you'll see zgemmas folders open on right hand side

5) ok, on the right hand side, scroll down until you see a folder called usr
double click it to open it

6) find a folder called keys, double click to open it

inside here is newcamd.list, right click and view/edit (choose notepad)

paste line in here

save

restart softcam

Hi I've followed all your instructions and still appear to get a blank screen -(

the remote sensor in the box has a very narrow field of view - you've got to point the remote squarely at it, if you're on a slight angle it doesn't work.

Hi Pablo. it seems to me the remote maybe faulty. because it works after scrolling 3 or 4 times then it freezes must be the remote.

any suggestions??
