ccam shows all channels, mgcamd on shows some.

Ok. Good u got going again. If u wanna try new image again sometime.
Copy the mg_cfg and newcamd.list files inside /usr/keys.
Save them on pc.
load any new image.
put both files back after flash.
copy new line details and edit the old newcamd.list with these.
reboot.

hi.
not sure if you are responding to my questions above?
is it more involved to use mg_cfg and assosciated files?

is there a tutorial anywhere for this? im ok so far inserting ccam cfg.

thanks

hello, can I jump in please?
im in a similar place.

I have tried a test N line using cccam, it worked fine except for quite a few glitches 6/7 hr.

should I use mgcamd ? and what version?
presumably I should delete the cccam from my Vu Solo2?

is the File Transfer Process to the Vu different? I was sent a CCcam.cfg file, should I ask for a mgcamd.cfg file?

any help will be appreciated.

cheers

Yes an nline should be used in mgcamd.
but it has worked just as well for me in cccam.
but to use in mgcamd you need the two files I mentioned above and make sure u delete cccam and CCcam.cfg.
try a test line first from someone else.

you might have to change the settings in the mg_cfg file. if you do here are my settings
M: { 01 }
C: { 01 }
A: { 01 }
U: { 01 } 0x12c0
T: { 00 }
G: { 01 }
N: { 07 } 5 30
K: { 07 }
Q: { 120 }

P: { 00 }
O: { 00 } username password
S: { 03 } 80
L: { 03 } 172.16.1.1 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log
E: { 15 }
H: { 07 }
R: { 04 }
