Enigma2 Box running vix wont find ip address

Hi guys.
Im sure im missing something simple.
But 1000 heads better than 1 lol

House was running net to box through homeplugs grand for couple of months.
Now box will not connect.
Getting on network test:
Lan Adapter lan connection
Local connected
Dhcp enabled
Ip address unconfirmed RED
Nameserver confirmed.

Tried repeatedly rebooting box and router. Using long cat5 cable. Everything i can think of.
Router is 192.168.1.1
Box is 192.168.1.33
Isp Is post office
Reset router

Please can someone kick sense into me.

do the lights flash at back of box flash if lan cable connected and some home plugs got a connect button on them

when you say reboot fully,try powering off via remote then rear switch off wait 10 secs then on give it a minute and try again.

Was getting this on my box for a while, had to change the ports on the router and send restart network and then pull the plug out of the wall for a minute. Then configure your network again should do the trick
 
Tried both. Even taking away plugs and using cable direct gives same problem.
Restarted network.
Rebooted by remote.
Powered off and booted router then waited until running before box on etc.
Tried the usual but missing something

Get 1 solid orange light on rear but no flashing and not getting green light except when box is booting for few secs

Internet is there as can connect and browse with phone
 
you not said what box,leave box off at rear for 1/2 hr to get cold and retry,i had a faulty box no lan connection when warm but it would connect when cold=bad solder joint.

if you put another box on there does it connect?
 
Is it possible the box ip is out of range? 33 seems low to me. Connected to router homepage and phone is there as device but not box.
Is there a way to change box ip manually.
House runs out of electric frequently so there will have been power cuts.
Box works at mine instantly

Had box off 30 mins. Power cable pulled. Drained power by powering on with no cable.

think with dhcp off you can do a manual ip to enter into box.

some of my boxes are like 11,12,13 and other 23 lol

Havnt tried other box yet. Will tomorrow but i think router is issue. Port light comes on router when cable plugged in so router sees cable.

Think dhcp off only allows router address change. Tried.
 
Try going into router, manage devices Had this kind of problem few years back with a tele ended up typing it in
 
Tried wireless wizard.
Adding new nameserver details (copied same .1.1 address)

Tried router settings page but looks like cheap azz router so v few options visably available. Did run short of time tho

Culd it be a router security feature masking its ip if it thought box was violating something? Sorry for lack of understanding. Feked my router years ago so stopped learning them quickly lol

But box worked fine for 2 months on same setup. Router works fine in every other sense. All cables swapped out for new. Still same. I even reset router with pin in back so any footering would have been reset
 
Client list wasnt showing box. Only showing my phone connected.
Wouldnt know where to start with the port forwarding but should simpy connect.
Frustrating.
Will bring my box over tomorrow but if it connects or not im still no closer to knowing the issue
 
Got a feeling it is your router You can always contact then and will send you out another cheap 1
