Satellite H1 channels

Hi, ive got two lines one virmin and sly, ive scanned ect , sly channels have gone into favourites but numbers not channels , epg only shows about five channels any ideas people.thankyou

you have a sat feed & cable feed going in right?




FOR EPG:

*YOU NEED A STORAGE DEVICE FOR THIS*

Menu > Setup > System > EPG > Settings > Enable Virgin EPG: yes
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > Cross EPG > Update rytec providers
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > Cross EPG > XMLTV Providers > Rytec Virgin UK XMLTV > click yellow to download *Wait for it to finish* > Click okay on Rytec Virgin UK XMLTV (Green tick should appear) then hit green to save
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > XMLTV-Importer > Press Blue for Sources > Scroll to Rytec Virgin UK XMLTV Okay *Green tick will appear* > Gress green to save
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > XMLTV-Importer > Press Yellow for Manual > then Yes.

For your channels:

Menu > Setup > Service Searching > AutoBouquetsMaker > Delete bouquets
Menu > Setup > Service Searching > AutoBouquetsMaker > Providers > Double check all the settings in there are correct:
Virmin uk: yes
Virmin uk area: select yours
Virmin uk fta only: no
Virmin uk generate main bouquet: yes
Virmin uk: generate sections bouquets: yes
Virmin uk generate hd bouquets: yes
Virmin uk generate fta bouquet: yes
Virmin uk generate fta hd bouquet: yes
Virmin uk swap channels: yes to replace or sd channels with the hd channels up to you

Do the same for SLY UK but your area use a Custom not HD area because no HD channels work on sat.


Menu > Setup > Service Searching > AutoBouquetsMaker > Start Scan

tried but no luck with the sly channels i did how ever get over 600 channels with sly but all numbers apart from the odd few,tried putting in n: line in ect file but wouldnt connect.Any ideeas???????:(

N line shouldn't go in a file in the ect folder.
the n line should go in usr>keys>newcamd.list file.

Replace "n:" with "CWS = "

First line Virmin
Second line Sly

i take it they are both n lines?
Also use mgcamd.1.38
