Help cannot get any channels after scanning on A780

So let's start at the beginning.. You have updated to 20/01/2015 and you get beeb and ITV.. So feed must be ok..! Does the Ethernet plug at back of kV flash.. If no then internet problem.. ! If it is flashing and you know the cable is ok then you have either a faulty internet connection in kV box or the update did not complete.. How long did the update take..? Two mins.. Or ten odd hours.. If the latter then suspect update did not complete for some reason..!

Hi Ted, as far as connections I think its ok, else would`t have been able to update to 20/01/15, it took 3 mins approx., but online s/w update took more than a day.

You need to answer Teds questions if you want to move on.

Don't forget we can only work on the information posted.

The more accurate it is the quicker it will be resolved.

Can you confirm the firmware version (date)on your box.

Also post the area where you are, then we can check the net id you are using is correct.

Also confirm a flashing light at the ethernet cable connection to the box.

"already exists" suggests your box hasn't done a proper factory rest.

Hi bees, the software is dated 20/01/2015, area swindon, getting 8 ID`s (Already exist) on ntl.

what my point is if your net id is wrong or changed you will be getting wrong info,do you or anybody local have a vm box to get the info of that box?

ok go to it and check this.

Using your subbed box... Not the KV box.

Press the home button on your VM remote control.
Go to settings.
Then technical stuff.
Your net id is the first item on the list.

Sounds like you are nearly there, try a different provider instead of NTL
