It looks like whatever was playing at the time wasn't allowed to broadcast in the UK. Have you checked after the event?

As soon as I seen that message, I went up to the house and put on the same channel and it played fine. That channel down in the cave only ever displays that message

there's two Premier sports channels now, was this on Sd or HD?

This is via the remote server plugin, I only have 1 channels by the looks of it, and it’s premier sports HD, works great in the house, not on the remote box

If you have 2, can you try the sd and see what it displays?

The cable run to the mancave might be too long to get a decent signal
Also the Sd version that was added when VM removed the UKTV package has now disappeared so we only have HD

It’s very weird, all other channels work, but I’ve just had a thought, it still lists the Hd versions of sky sports etc, I thought by updating the channel plugin , that would uodate the channel lists. I’ve not been down in a while so I suspect it’s out of date. Do you know how to update that?

you'd need to run a scan in ABM and that would update the channel lists but you'd probably need to connect it to the VM cable
