Premier league TV rights up for grabs this week.

As the saying goes---"a fool and his money are soon parted"
The media fools people into parting with their money.
So the question remains---are you a fool or are you being fooled?
Reaper.

I would say everyone who pays sky is been fooled lol

Sky & BT want to pay the same as before but charge more on subscriptions, they're afraid of the competition which will force them to up their bids.
The loser will be the customer in paying more or having to subscribe to various companies to watch games.
Just as that is happening with streaming suppliers.
IE: netflix, prime and apple releasing there services. To view what you want will cost more as it will be across more platforms, TV companies. If it was just one company showed footie at £30pm is not to bad, but now sky, BT and newer show in town “amazon”.
Only ones maki g the money is TV companies and footballers, while those that enjoy footie have to pay 3 times.

Then the showers of sh*ts wonder why people use C/S & IP*V.

Just like Netflix v Amazon true competition would be to allow (or force) multiple platforms to have non exclusive access to packages. Then we would see genuine competition on price and vast improvements on innovation and service.
