Recording

I have a box and i can record a channel and watch another.... My friend has the same box with same setup but has to watch the same channel as recording for some reason? Any ideas why? Thanks in advance :)

He must only have 1 cable connected or doesn't have the second tuner set up properly.

Or alternatively may only be using CCcam2.13 and needs to upgrade to CCcam2.30
