no, but it sometimes follows that number
it is a couple of characters followed by 3 numbers.....have a look at post 230 in this thread (page 12)

it looks like your radio is Alpine, code not available fro serial ???

Hi,
We have a Scenic at work & can't get the stereo to work. I have removed the stereo, got the barcode needed for the code & we have the code 0611 but for the life of us, we can't figure out how to input the code. There is no display when you turn the stereo on. If you mash the buttons you can get a beep out of it but there is nothing showig up on the dash. I assume the stereo display is next to the speedo as there is a large blank part of screen there.
Is there anything we can do to get it working? Or what inputs do we need to enter tpo get the stereo working woithout the display?
