I would just remove and reinstall skin

no need to factory reset.

Go to menu > plugins > red button to remove plugin > skins - delete problematic skin.

Have you reported it in the skyq thread?

He doesn't use vix so may have missed something. Whatever you do don't factory reset box it causes more issues then enough if needed reflash rather than factory reset.
