Skybox F3 F4 F5 - Channel Editing for yourself - Tutorial

Hi everyone, I'm just wondering how to change a channel frequency on my f5s my sky sports 2 is the wrong frequency so it's only one channel any help on what programs to download and a brief outline on what to do would be great thanks

How did u change a channel frequancy im currently trying to change my sky sports 2 frequency any help much appreciated thanks
 
You will notice that you have a file called TP_PROG.abs this is the first thing that you will need to alter. The file extension will need to be changed from .abs to .dbs.


all the "TP_PROG" i download and unzip are already ".dbs" files!!! but the files the program editor is looking for are ".abs" files!!!!!!
are you sure you have this right as i keep getting "file error" messages when ever i try this program!!
its driving me crazy!!!

p.s i just did a dump by usb from my f5s and it was an image file (.abs) and i run this with your program edtor and it shows up ok!!!!
so now im well confused as this is a file editor but only for (.abs) files and def not (.dbs) files

so please help me

The first post is a bit confusing. As you say, channel lists are already in .dbs file format. I know that a couple of other channel editors (Mediabox Editor studio for one), needs to have the .dbs changed to .abs to import it into the editor.

I've just loaded my unregistered demo version of SetEditHD100 (ver 1.43 build 201) & it accepts both .abs & .dbs files.
 
Doesnt work for me full stop, tried renaming the file to whatever the program can read...Constantly get file load error.
Installed program and licence fine has it comes up who it is registered to when opening.

I wanna delete half the fav group lists etc..I use PVR800 to edit the channels, its miles easier but doesnt let you remove unwanted groups

Anyone with any info on how to do it? Like i wanan delete Irish, Fav Groups 2-8, Regional, Specialist, Red Button and FTA??
 
Hi , Does anyone know how to edit the hostname on cccam file on skybox F5 Without entering in all the other numbers again
