Slyk v5.214 Installation Problem

I have ftp the ipk file to my zgemma, installed the ipk via install local extension.

however the skin isnt showing on my skin list so i cant enable it.

Can anyone help a newbie please, thanks

Are you sure it installed right
As it has had problems before of not installing

Check
Plugins/remove and if it's there it's installed and if not it's not
Uninstall and install from a different location

Root
Temp
USB root
HDD root
Sd root

once installed the skin isn't showing up on the skin selection screen, so i'm guessing it hasnt installed correctly.

where else can i put the ipk file ?

Root is just /

/
/temp
/media/Hdd/
/media/sd/
/media/USB/

I should say the root is the first location you go to once your in the box

Just thinking of you go to

Menu/setup/system/install ipk
It will show where you can the ipks on your box

That's for atv
