Software update lost channels

not getting anything at the minute.......

will not be back there till tomorrow.

clicked into open vix Fav, and there are no channels....... Confused.com......head melting

somehow, they got Channel 4, on it today.....
 
ok so you must be using abm set to sky roi sd.
got a usb stick in rear mounted and epg going to usb/hdd or internal flash.
 
so box is on the open vix screen,like a virgin box before setup?
to be 100% was a software online update tried on vix image and if so this fecks box up and would need to be reflashed and start from scratch

or
box got abm or epg update and this failed after this?
 
box went offf when internet went down,,,,,,,,and when it came back on, Skybox software was not on the screen, this silly OpenVix was on the screen, and we count not get anything to work......
 
skybox is a totally different box,box probably needed a restart of box and router to connect to services.
maybe the only way is to reflash and start again and hope you have line saved to put back again.

I am running the same image and had the same problem. Try doing the following...

Setup
Service Searching
Tuner Config
Tuner A
Send DiSEqC to Yes using Left Right button
Exit to main menu.

If the above doesn't work then you may have to re-flash :(

Got the channels back, yippee, thanks very much.
Now just have recording issue, cannot record a program, while watching another, and cannot get UTV.
 
you have not got 2 sat cables plugged in or not setup box to show sat 28.2 on both tuners,or not running 1.38 cam lol,like on the tut.

think utv is hidden somewhere in bouquet or look in kingofsat web page for channel info and scan details in if needed.might be itv?

plenty of others had this issue

lost channel info might need to be scanned in.
