thinking of swapping from a skybox f5s to a VU+ SOLO2

how would i go about transferring my line over to a VU+ solo2?

ive got a solo2 and whilst ive never used a f5 i think they are pretty much in a different league ,you will need to learn a few new tricks FTP ect but once youve done it once will be a doddle ,

sorry couldnt edit my message and didnt answer ,depending whether its a C or N you will have to download a cam onto your solo2 ,either ccam for C or mgcamd for N ,then FTP your line or manually add to the relevant file sounds a lot more difficulyt than it is but plenty of tutorials around

It s too vague a question to answer correctly, but to get your line from the f5s then insert USB to box, press menu, go through the menu's left or right until you see dump to USB, select this, select the files you want, newcamd.list for n line and CCcam.cfg for c line, perform back up and they will be on your USB. All information is already on techkings, need to get reading lol

so gmangt4 its a case of dumping the files to usb from the F5s and then transfereing said files to the VUE? its that easy?

good question if both files are loaded onto pc/laptop and you see 2 files mgcfg. and newcamd.list in there then filezilla client should send to box when connected.
