To watch 1 channel and record another?

Hello all im using biohead image

Are 2 lines needed and 2 feeds needed for sat and cable to record 1 channel and watch another?

How come HD channels don't have sound but picture?

To record and watch with the H2H you need to be connected to both sat and cable, and also need a line each for sat and cable. Dsayers image is set up to use sat and cable together - so have a look at that.

HD channels do have sound - is everything connected up tightly? Volume turned up?

Will check to see if dodgy cables but was getting sound from the normal channels but not HD so I'l have a look.

press the audio button on the remote and check that "digital downmix" is set to on.
