Twitter URL Shortner

Hi

Is there a way to allow twitter to shorten links for you properly instead of using the bitly or other URL shrinking services -quite annoying that you have to do it manually all the time.

Is there a way around this?

yes HT but when you paste a massive URL in it doesn't shorten it the way it should with the t.co

Wierd, Twitter always shortens my links?? How big is the URL?
